This is the fork in the road for appliance disposal.
Anything on the left contains refrigerant (Freon), which the EPA requires to be professionally recovered before the unit can be scrapped or landfilled. You can't legally toss a fridge in a dumpster with the Freon still in it. Anything on the right is more straightforward.
